Join us to admire amazing Spanish-era architecture and churches as we walk down the narrow cobblestone streets of the old town.
There are SO many incredible sights to take in and snacks to try!
Along the way we try delightful traditional sweets and learn about the real life of everyday people living in Old Town. Your guides, either a parkour artist or a young architect living in the area, will walk with you from the classic sub-neighborhoods of Old Town (La Tola, San Juan and San Marcos) and later on to the famous Plaza Grande as they show you their favorite spots with unique and inspiring views of old town
Along the way you´ll hear remarkable stories about Ecuador's dramatic political and social history and activism, including a glimpse into what it is like to be a student in Quito's most storied high schools. It will also be a great opportunity for you to check out a few other places to which you may want to return later on such as parks, museums, theaters, galleries, cafe's or bars in the area!

How To Get To The Meeting Point ↑ :
From Old Town (Centro Historico):
(Recommended) Walk over to met us at Plaza San Blas! It should be at most a 15 minute walk from most hostels in the area, if not less. Ask your receptionist for details on the route and an estimate for how long it will take you to get here!
Take a taxi. Every taxi in the city should know where Plaza de San Blas is. Or, tell them the intersection - Av. Pichincha and Guayaquil. From most places in the Centro Historico, this taxi ride should cost $1.50 - $2.50
From La Mariscal
(Recommended) Take the bus! Walk to a bus stop along Avenida 6 de Diciembre or 10 de Agosto and take most any bus going south.
Here are some potential bus options for you...
If you are near Av. 6 de Diciembre: Take the Ecovia (the large bus that drives down the center of Av. 6 de Diciembre). Take this bus to the "Simon Bolivar" stop and walk 3 blocks southwest to Plaza de San Blas.
If you are near Av. 10 de Agosto: Take the Trolebus (the large bus that drives down the center of Av. 10 de Agosto). Take this bus to the Hermano Miguel stop, right across the street from Plaza de San Blas!
For details about other buses, ask someone at your hotel or hostel!
Take a taxi. Every taxi in the city should know where Plaza de San Blas is. Or, tell them the intersection - Pichincha and Guayaquil. From the Mariscal, a taxi ride should cost $1.50 - $3.00.
From Other Areas:
(Recommended) Ask your hotel/hostel receptionist for the best route and form of transportation. For example, your AirBnB host will most likely know best how to get to Swissotel.
If the route is safe, walk! Make sure you leave with plenty of time to make it.
